This is my very first blog! I'm kind of surprised that I'm even doing this, but I figured that I love to write and brag about my family...that's perfect for blogging. Plus I saw Kandice's page, and I was inspired. (You might have to teach me a few things, because I'm not exactly sure I know what I'm doing.)
I'm trying to keep this blog mainly open for our friends and family. I hope that all of you enjoy our little stories and updates. Like I said, I love to brag about my family.
So to begin with that...
Our little family is in Mountain Home, Idaho. Jason is in the Air Force, so we live out here on base. We miss being near family and friends, but it's really not too bad here. Recently it's been super cold and snowy. We had a very white Christmas. Jason likes working for the Air Force most of the time, but he really wants to go back to school.
I get to be a full-time mom, and I love it (most of the time). No really, I love it. I also love to read, and hopefully I will be able to start scrap booking soon. I mostly do all the mommy stuff. I am blessed with the two most adorable little boys.
Zekie is 18 months. He's so much fun and so much work. He is always busy exploring and being "Dangerous"! He seems so advanced for his age. He is a problem solver, if he can't do something then he will figure out a way so that he can. Unfortunately he is cursed with a lot of my bad habits, such as cleanliness and organization. He loves to clean. Some of his favorite toys include; his broom, the swifter duster, wash clothes and wipes. He especially enjoys Saturday, because I get out the big mop. He thinks it's great. What a silly boy!
Our baby Brody is a mini-Zeke, who is a mini-Jason. They are all so cute. Brody is such a happy baby. He is getting past all of his health issues, and we are hoping that he will be off of the apnea monitor by February. He spends most of his time smiling. His little spirit is so uplifting. He is such a strong baby, and we love watching him come into his little personality.
I'm still a huge animal lover, so we also have our other children. Chiswick (our cockatiel) is the oldest. He is very loud and full of energy. Sugar and Pig come next in the line. We love both of them (our cats). Sugar is big and beautiful, and Pig is still not sure what species he is. He's a weird one for sure. The night that I went into labor with Brody, we also got our Sophie (puppy). She has more personality then anyone else in the house. She is so funny and a handful. We love them all.
Now that I've updated everyone, and hopefully made my first blog entry a success, I'm going to wrap it up. Please feel free to email or comment on any blog entries, and thank you Kandice for the great idea. :)
